just about a quote I like and some motivation

I love this quote for a few reasons. I know I’m not the only one that looks for progress after going to the gym once. I have to keep reminding myself that it is going to take a while to see any progress. Little victories definitely keep me motivated, for example I lower my weight for assisted chin ups from 120lb, where I first started and weighing around 155lb) then to 100lb, where I was at for quite a few months to 85lb to wear I am now! I never thought I would move past 120lb because in my sports I don’t need to use my arms as much as my legs (competitive skiing and soccer). I am pretty unbalanced but I am working to improve that, slowly but surely. When I first started to go to a public gym on my own it was hard to not compare myself to other people, I wish someone said to me ‘they are further on their journey than you’. I think I am going to write a whole post on going to the gym for the first time and what to do and such. Back to the quote I think it applies in so many different ways, for instance getting rid of a bad habit. Let’s say you want to get rid for a caffeine addiction. Stopping instantly, doesn’t usually work for most, unless you have amazing will power, then congrats to you! If you start drinking it less and less could be a more realistic way, I mean I think that’s what I would do. That is my little essay with no real focus, point being don’t give up just because you don’t feel or see the result you want right away!
